Review the operational guidelines, appointment booking standards, cancellation policies, and medical disclaimers governing New You Medical Aesthetics.

1. Practice Identity & Regulatory Framework

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the website (newyoumedical.co.za) and all clinical enquiry and appointment reservation arrangements with Ndlela Health Care Group Inc. (Registration No. 2018/047153/21), trading as New You Medical Aesthetics, founded and medically directed by Dr. Nokwazi Nokwanda Ndlela (MBChB UCT, HPCSA Registration No. MP0591114).

New You Medical Aesthetics operates as a medical aesthetics practice registered in the Republic of South Africa across four clinic locations:

  • Durban North: 2 Gorse Road, Glen Hills, Durban North, 4051
  • Ballito / Salt Rock: Executive Suite, Gifford Crescent, Salt Rock, Ballito, 4420
  • Johannesburg: 42A East Road, Morningside Manor, Sandton, 2057
  • Richards Bay: Waterfront Sessional Suite, Bon Hotel, Richards Bay Waterfront, 3900

2. Medical Nature of Services & Doctor-Led Consultations

All clinical procedures offered—including medical injectables (Botox®, dermal fillers, biostimulators), medical chemical peels, microneedling, PRP therapies, IV nutritional infusions, and medically supervised weight-loss pathways—are specialized medical procedures.

Mandatory Clinical Evaluation: No invasive or injectable treatment is administered without a preliminary doctor-led medical aesthetic consultation and clinical assessment by Dr. N. Ndlela to determine patient eligibility, health status, and aesthetic objectives.

Website content, educational articles, and treatment descriptions are provided solely for general informational purposes and do not constitute formal medical diagnosis, individualized medical advice, or an established doctor-patient relationship prior to an in-person clinical consultation.

3. Individual Physiological Variance & No Result Guarantee

Every patient exhibits unique facial anatomy, skin tissue histology, metabolic response rates, and hormonal factors. Consequently:

  • Variability of Outcomes: Clinical results, recovery timelines, and longevity of aesthetic outcomes vary naturally between individuals.
  • No Result Guarantees: While all protocols follow stringent evidence-based medical techniques, medical aesthetics cannot guarantee identical cosmetic outcomes across different patients.
  • Before & After Imagery: Before and after photographs featured on this website and our clinical galleries represent real patients treated across our clinic locations. These serve as illustrative examples of clinical capability and do not guarantee an identical result for any other patient.

4. Appointment Scheduling & External Booking Gateway

To ensure dedicated clinical attention, New You Medical Aesthetics coordinates consultations and procedures via our external HealthAccess clinical booking gateway (hea.mobi / nym.healthaccess.co.za) and practice administration channels.

External Booking & Payment Gateway Notice: HealthAccess is an external booking platform. The New You Medical Aesthetics website itself does not operate an on-site checkout or process credit card payments directly. All appointment scheduling, transaction terms, deposit requirements, and cancellation policies applicable through HealthAccess are presented and accepted directly through the HealthAccess portal at the reservation stage.

4.1 Booking & Reservation Deposits

Certain consultations, sessional residency bookings (including Ballito, Johannesburg, and Richards Bay), and high-demand injectable appointments may require a reservation deposit to confirm your time slot on HealthAccess. Any required deposit is credited directly towards your treatment total on the day of your appointment.

4.2 Rescheduling & Cancellation Notice

We require a minimum of 24 to 48 hours notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment. This courtesy allows our clinical team to accommodate patients on our consultation waiting list.

4.3 Late Arrivals & Non-Attendance

In order to maintain strict clinical scheduling and avoid delays for subsequent patients, arrivals exceeding 15 minutes past the scheduled start time may require shortening the treatment duration or rescheduling the appointment. Non-attendance without prior notice may result in forfeiture of the reservation deposit in accordance with the booking terms presented on HealthAccess.

5. Patient Health Disclosures & Informed Consent

Patient safety is the highest clinical priority at New You Medical Aesthetics. Prior to undergoing any treatment, patients agree to:

  • Provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date medical histories, including known allergies, chronic conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, previous aesthetic procedures, and all current prescription medications or supplements.
  • Read, comprehend, and execute a formal written Informed Consent Document detailing procedure steps, known side effects, transient post-treatment erythema/swelling, and aftercare directives.
  • Strictly adhere to all post-treatment home care instructions provided by Dr. N. Ndlela to promote optimal healing and minimize complications.

6. Protection of Personal Information (POPIA) & Electronic Communications

In compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA No. 4 of 2013) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA No. 25 of 2002), New You Medical Aesthetics processes all personal and clinical enquiry data under strict confidentiality.

7. Intellectual Property & Website Use

All content featured on this website—including clinical text, logos, custom typography, before-and-after photographic documentation, graphics, and layout designs—is the proprietary intellectual property of New You Medical Aesthetics and protected under South African copyright and intellectual property legislation.

Unauthorized duplication, distribution, framing, or commercial exploitation of clinical imagery or written content without explicit written authorization from Dr. N. Ndlela is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service and all related clinical agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with website usage or clinical services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts and relevant statutory medical regulatory bodies (including the Health Professions Council of South Africa).
